In the last scenes with Dumbeldore in Deathly Hallows, what/who was the little baby crying in the background?

Harry kept wanting to help but Albus said nothing could be done. I didn’t quite understand that part. And HOW did Neville end up with Godric Gryffindor’s sword???
There ya go! Spoiling it for the kids!
Just messing with ya
1. it was the piece of voldermort’s soul that was living inside of him. Once he got to that limbo-like point he became free of the piece of soul.
2. Just like in book 2 — only a true Gryffindor could pull that out of a hat. There are still some questions as to how the sword ended back up at Hogwarts though. Unless of course the goblin came back to help in the fight.
Wow you’re right i have no idea who that baby is…well, I wondered the same about Neville’s sword, but the people on Y!A cleared it up: he got it out of the Sorting Hat because he’s a true Gryffindor.
I think that, that was supposed to be a reprsentation of Voldemort’s soul. I think that it was the part of Voldemort’s soul that was in Harry and was supposed to represent what it would be like when Voldemort died.
I wondered about that too. I think it was the infant Harry, who had been “killed” by Voldemort’s original curse. Or, it might have been the horocrux that Voldemort created when he tried to kill Harry as a child.
That baby was the piece of Voldemort’s soul that had been inside of Harry for all these years. And just as in the Chamber of Secrets, only a true Gryffindor can pull something like Godric Gryffindor’s sword out of the sorting hat. It was never the goblins. It belonged to the Gryffindor House and Neville needed it to kill Nagini so that is why it came out of the sorting hat.
That was Voldemorts soul that was in harry as I understood it.
it was what was left of voldemort after he mutilated himself so many times. he was barely human at all.
I think it was Voldie’s soul that was living in Harry’s body. Or it might been a symbol of Voldie’s cruelty.
As for Neville, Harry pulled the sword from goodness knows where, and i think Neville did the same. It might have been sucked right out of Griphook’s hands.
