From a genetics doctor & your man had a 50% 50% chance of passing on a genetics disease to your child would you
A. Have his baby anyway.
B. Adopt a child.
C. Have another mans baby & pretend its his and act like you were lucky that your child didn’t get the genetic disease.
I have 2 kids w/ a genetic syndrome myself & am wondering if other women would risk having a child w/ a genetics syndrome or disease.

If I wanted kids, I would adopt.
It depends, if my hubby had a certain genetic disorder that could only be passed onto a child of a certain gender (like so many disorders are) I’d go to a fertility specialist, they can sift through sperm and give you whatever gender you want. If not, I’d probably not risk it.
if it is a mild treatable problem, then it is A, also there is some new technologies that you can do an egg harvest and make multiple embryo’s and select the one that doesn’t have the problem, but this is not available to every genetic disease yet.
if it is a sever problem then it is B,
it is never C
another option is to leave that man, and get another, while this sounds harsh, but it is his problem and you don’t have to suffer through, but if you love him that much then it is B
Adopt. There are a bunch of children in this world already that just want/need a little love.
I have one child with downs, which for us isnt genetic, was just something that happened, I have second child who was fine,
If I knew, i would definately have a child, as my girl is an angel sent from above, but depending on the nature of the genetic disease i may not go back for a second, depending on how hard it would be for me and for the child.
Although God doesnt give you anything you cant handle,
And its really a gift to have a special child
I would never have another mans baby, you may aswell just leave the guy
if you knew i would adopt or do some surrogacy, ovum, sperm donation process for a healthy child.
