Richard Smallwood lived life devoted to his wife, committed to community
Parma lost one of its most well-known citizens Friday morning when Richard “Dick” Smallwood passed away at age 81, surrounded by his family. His wife, Donna, was unquestionably his “better-known half.” It is her name that is attached to the former Parma Senior Center directly behind Parma City Hall. It was she, who was for so many years the city’s director of Senior Citizens.
