Question by Jennifer H: How long should my baby be sleeping at night?
My baby is 23 weeks old, and takes 2- 1 hour naps, and one 1/2 hour nap during the day. He is in bed by 8:30, and is up for a feeding at 2:00am. He is usually up for the day around 5-6. Is it unreasonable to be waiting for the morning he sleeps past 6. How long should he be sleeping at night? ( I know every baby is different)

buy the Contented Little Baby book – my baby was breast fed and sleeping 12-14 hours straight when he was 2 months old and still sleeps like a baby.

Question by Miss Maddison Lyn has arrived!!: How long does a pregnancy test show positive after giving birth?
If I gave birth to my daughter on August 24th and I take a pregnancy test today or tomorrow morning would it still show positive? Typically how long does it take to get all the pregnancy hormones out of your system? Im not breast feeding and havent been bleeding since my second week post partum. Thanks in advance for your answers.

I’m guessing the hormones are out of your system pretty early since some women get pregnant a couple weeks after giving birth. They usually find out with a test because their periods aren’t back to normal yet.

Question by puppy: How long would you classify a baby sleeping all night?
ive herd people say “my baby slept all night” does that mean from like 12am – 5am or like 9pm – 6am?

when should they start doing it?

im just asking because my 6 week old daughter still waks up every 2 – 3 hours (by herself) looking for food through the night and the day. Now 6 weeks of this, the tiredness is starting to catch up with me.

im not trying to push her or think that this behaviour is not normal, im just looking forward to an hour sleep here an there.

Oh, I heard the official definition of sleeping through the night one time, it was crazy. Like 11 pm to 5 am or something. My definition is if I wake up before the baby.

You’re right, it’s totally normal for her age. It will get better. My fiance and I used to take turns, so we could each at least get about 5-6 hours of straight sleep a night.

6 weeks is how long you can get a positive pregnancy test.After your hormones start to go back to normal. Keep taking your prenatal vitamins to help and save your self from loses like calcium and hair lose.

Question by Mrs. R: How long into your pregnancy was it before you started having early pregnancy symptoms?
My husband and I do not use protection and we had sex last week sometime, not sure of the exact date, and I am not sure if what I am feeling could be pregnancy or it is al in my head. I felt sick on day and everything smelled bad, but it only lasted one day. My breasts are a little sore along the sides, but not enough to bother me. My face has been breaking out like crazy and I have more vaginal discharge than normal. Help?

It could be pregnancy symptoms. A lot of people will try and tell you that you cannot have symptoms that early, but, YES, you can! I did. I googled early pregnancy signs or symptoms…I can’t remember which one and looked on a website and there are some strange things associated with pregnancy that most people don’t think of. I would suggest that and go from there. If you are very familiar with your body, you will know if something different is going on. I would wait another week, though and test then. my baby will be 1 years old next week. and she needs to get her shots. how many shots will she be getting? and how long will she feel sore and sick for? im also scared of her getting austim i dont really want to do this. but im doing it cuz i dont want her to get sick with some kind of disease. i need info plzz help thanks!

I have regular periods and this happens every month but this month I have unprotected sex and have been late 5 days. It has never been late like this before. So this morning I took a home pregnancy test again “clear blue” and it was negative. I just wonder how long it takes to be sure that I am pregnant or not ?
