Question by Feed the models!: Why does my baby have problems sleeping? She always looks so tired!…?
She’s 10 months old and I can’t figure out a way to make her go to bed at the same time every night. Some days she’ll go to bed at 7:30 pm, and wake up at 8 am. Some days she’ll go to bed at 8:30, and wake up at 7 am! … Not to mention that lately she’s waking up around 3 am, crying and standing up in her crib, and the only way she’ll go back to sleep is if I hold her in my arms and sway her for about 5 min., then turn on her “aquarium” and tuck her in.
And then she’ll be tired and cranky the next day…
Also, she had been taking 2 naps till she was like 9 1/2 months old, then she started to skip the morning nap and now… she’s taking a morning nap! (???)
I don’t know if all this is normal…
Please help me understand my little girl! :)

Thank you very much!

I entered the NICU to the sound of a baby crying. As I neared Meriah’s area, I realized it was her; she was uncomfortable. I got out my camera just in time to catch the tail end of her crying. She wanted to be swaddled and settled down when she was comfortable. Notice her squint when the bright light shines in her eyes near the end of the video

Why does my baby cry every time she looks at me?

If i try to put my baby down to get things done during the day she always starts crying when she looks at me. It doesn’t matter what i put her in and she could be completely content in her high chair or her little saucer seat or something or even if my husband or someone else is holding her. Its like she will go from being completely happy and fine and all i have to do is pass through the room and she starts crying unless i take her. How can i get her to stop doing this? I don’t want her to get like this especially if my husband is holding her.
