Moms with celiac disease, how did you feed your newborn baby/babies?

I’m just curious, about the other moms on this board that have celiac disease. How did you feed your newborn baby? Which worked better for you formula or breast milk?

I didn’t know that I had celiac disease until my son was 16 months old. I was on anti-depressants, and the medication ends up in the breast milk. Hind sight, Im glad he was on formula, because he wouldn’t have gotten the nutrition that he needed from me.

If we ever conceive again, I am going to give that child breast milk. Not sure about pumping or latching onto the nipple. Granted I will have to take a supplements to help support my nutrition. I’m pretty sure it will be worth it in the end.
