Mother charged with neglect
A woman was taken to jail accused of child neglect Wednesday morning after abandoning her 1-year-old child in a truck, a spokesman for the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office said. Neglect Case Is Continued
A preliminary hearing in the child neglect case against Kristopher Burchett has been continued again. The 27-year-old Chester resident is accused of child neglect resulting in injury in the Feb. 1 death of his 4-month-old son, Brandon Burchett.
