Well, the experts will say after one year, when the risk of SIDS is drastically reduced.

Question by alicia: Baby is starting to roll over to stomach while sleeping what should I do?
My baby is almost three months old and I have notice that every time I put her down to sleep/nap by the time she wakes up she has inched to her side and is almost lying on her tummy….what should I do? When she falls asleep playing on her tummy I move her…Any suggestions?? I am a first time mother and the dct said that the risk of sids in greater when a baby sleeps on his or her tummy…but what should I do if she moves to her tummy?

Best answer:

Answer by You asked, be prepared.
Leaver her alone to sleep…they start to turn around 4 months and sleep on the stomach. As long as no blankets or toys are in the crib to obstruct breathing, she will be fine. It is perfectly normal, and in fact, my pediatrician encouraged it.

Question by cracio: How bad idea is to let our two-month old baby continue sleeping on her stomach?
Our pediatrician has warned us not to have our baby sleep in that position because there is a risk of sudden death.
We want to have the baby sleep on her back, but she just does not like it. Any suggestions or warnings/comments.

We bought a wedge like thing to put her in. It was at Target. Two triangular wedge with space in between to put the baby in. She couldn’t roll when she’s on it and by the time she could roll over it she was old enough to hold her head, roll back on her own and sit up. It works and it’s only 10 bucks.GL

Question by ItsMe: How far into your pregnancy did you give Lovenox injections in your stomach?
I’m about 25 weeks pregnant with my first child & have been on Lovenox injections of 120mg/day since I was 13 weeks due to a stroke. I’ve been giving myself the injections in my stomach & love handles since I began. Is it safe to continue in the stomach area throughout your whole pregnancy? I’m just worried about the needle coming too close to the baby as my pregnancy progresses. Has anyone given themselves injections in their stomach throughout their entire pregnancy or were you forced to move to a different area? Thanks!

If you can’t afford an abortion or it is against your principles, I am wondering if you can cause a girl/woman to miscarraige simply by punching her stomach. Of course it will hurt. But will it end the pregnancy?
