Question by Grace: How are the pregnancy weeks counted for a women with a longer cycle? I know they count the weeks of pregnancy by the date of the last period. So if the last period was on Dec. 1st for example, Jan 1st would be sometime around week 4.
But what about those with longer cycles? With cycles that are 50 days long for example. So if two women have their period on Dec. 1st, one with a regular cycle and the other with a longer cycle, I believe that they didn’t conceive on the same day.
Am I right? Please explain.

Answer by Rocker Wife Yes, you are right. They go by the last date of your period at first. Eventually, an ultrasound will be done to confirm the fetal age and approximate date of conception. From there, you will be given your new due date.
Good luck and congrats!

Question by Alijna: My 7 month and 2 weeks old baby, sleeping problems!? It all started not long ago, like 2-3 weeks ago … Every since she was born she slept great, even if she woke up once or twice to eat she would fall asleep right away. But now she wake up around 3-4 in the morning and will ot go back to sleep in her bed unless i take her with me in bed, and its not just this ..She also wants to fall sleep with my tit in her mouth, she start to refuse dummy more and more … I don’t mind she wake up to eat, but i want to sleep aloneee …. its just that i am so tired that i cant stand her crying and i take her with me, maybe i have to let her cry..?? Anyone had this problem before?? What did you do? She already got her first 2 teeth when she was 5 and half. I suspect she has that thing called separation anxiety, i am trying my best to be there when ever she needs me, i hope it will go back to normal soon. Thx girls anyways !

Answer by Şơƥɦɨȩ’ȿ Μʋɱɱʮ no, you do not HAVE to let her cry. i find i get a better and longer sleep with my daughter in with me. if she wants comforted by nursing then so be it, i would expect this to be easier and less stressful than allowing her to cry it out.

Question by Angelica L: I’m 24 weeks pregnant and I have been having the worst sleeping problems. Is my baby OK? What can I do to fix this? My fiancé is very worry.
Best answer:
Answer by oceana of course your baby is ok. sleeping problems are normal. if you cant sleep, that might mean signs that your baby is restless, or that you are almost near labor.
